I'm doing a little bit of planning for my Chicago trip next week and I came across this gem:
Am I allowed to bring my bicycle to McCormick Place?
Yes, you can bring your bicycle to McCormick Place. However, you are not allowed to ride it inside the building.
Oh, I soooo want to hear the story behind this rule.

Have you been there? It seriously more navigable by bike than by foot, because it is so huge. I don't ride a bike but I wished I had a segway every time I have been!

I have been to McCormick. And some form of non-feet transport would be most welcome. But I really, really want the story behind the need for the rule!
